PhD candidate in Sociology, University of Innsbruck

Gender inequality, STEM education, and labor market stratification.

I study how economic resources, security, expected returns, and institutional contexts shape gender gaps in STEM preferences, educational trajectories, and labor market outcomes.

About

I am a PhD candidate at the Institute for Sociology, University of Innsbruck. My dissertation, supervised by Prof. Wilfred Uunk, examines economic resources and the gender gap in STEM preferences and choices.

My work connects sociology, economics, education, and labor market research. I use quantitative methods to study gender inequality, STEM education, social stratification, gig and platform work, wage gaps, and China's labor market.
